Synopsis

Talking about the technological proliferation in which we are currently immersed,
shows us a discouraging and worrying panorama, as far as direct affectations that
society in general shelters, today; we focus our gaze on a vulnerable population in
management, use and technological addition, adolescence; a fertile population in terms
of emotional affectations.
Therefore, to raise awareness and promote the use of technologies in the
adolescence stage, in the use of time in a moderate way in any context, be it
educational, family or social, insofar as affectations have generated a negative impact
on the processes. of communication and interpersonal relationships, young people more
concerned with what happens on the screens than with what happens around them,
replacing physical contact, the use of words, and parenting games, generating negative
consequences in development Socio-emotional.
therefore, the objective: is to understand the experiences of the use of
technologies in adolescents from 12 to 15 years old, in an educational institution in the
municipality of Itagüí in the city of Medellín. Materials and method, A phenomenological
study was carried out, where the deep interview was applied by a data collection
instrument, which was answered by 10 students from an educational institution located
in the department of Antioquia.
the results are connected to the experiences associated with the increase in the
use of technological means by the respondents, where it is possible to identify that the
different behaviors that arise in adolescents are related to the practices of the human
being which can be positive or negative for them, the discussion It is to know through
their different stories their experiences when making use of the different technological
means, which could reflect those factors that affect the use of social networks.
Finally, the Conclusions, the majority of adolescents between 12 and 15 years of
age, depend on a technological instrument, in this case a cell phone, to interact with
their peers and access knowledge, becoming a study tool. keywords Technology,
