Sensacuentos: Alfabetización Emocional De Los Niños Y Las Niñas Del Grado Prejardín Del Jardín Infantil La Fortaleza Del Oso

Abstract

The research project called "Sensacuentos: Emotional Literacy for the boys and girls of the kindergarten The Bear’s Fortress ", aims to help children coursing kindergarten in the school The Bear’s Fortress, located in the 5^th District (Usme), in Bogotá, Colombia, to express and understand their own emotions through a process developed by the leading teachers and supported by the parents.

This process consists mainly of reading stories and fables by various children's authors, but especially by the colombian author Ivar Da Coll, and then participate with the children in the expression of the emotions that the stories arouse in them, as well as the understanding of the bonds they create with the characters.

The main objective of this emotional literacy process is to accompany children in the understanding and expression of their emotions, as a tool in the expansion of their developmental dimensions.
