The proposed project aims to explore and enhance language development in 4 to 5-year-old children through the integration of artistic expressions as a pedagogical method. The fundamental premise is that art, in its various forms such as puppets, theater, marionettes, and others, can be a useful tool for enriching vocabulary, improving verbal and non-verbal communication, and fostering narrative skills in preschoolers.
This approach is based on the idea that language learning and development are highly interactive and multisensory processes that can be effectively stimulated through artistic experiences. A structured program of activities is proposed, including artistic creation, appreciation of works, body expression, and dramatization, always seeking the active participation of children so that they can experiment with language in a playful and creative way.
Additionally, the project includes the training of educators and parents in techniques for integrating art as a pedagogical tool, ensuring continuity in the multidisciplinary approach beyond the classroom. The evaluation of the impact on language development will be carried out through direct observations, records of progress in vocabulary and verbal fluency, as well as feedback from participants and their families. With this, it is expected not only to improve children's language skills but also to foster a greater appreciation of art as a means of expression and communication.
