This research project is focused on the prevention of musculoskeletal diseases in health workers in order to mitigate absenteeism. The objective of this is the design of therapeutic strategies, focused on nursing assistants in the Intensive Care Unit of Hospital Tunal, to reduce the incidence of musculoskeletal diseases and work absenteeism.
The present investigation presents a quantitative approach, with a descriptive scope, the population is made up of 30 workers, there is no sample because 100% of the population will be worked with, the data collection instruments that will be used are a felt morbidity survey applied in the Google forms formats, which is structured in 4 sessions, 1. Collection of personal data, 2. Work activities, 3. Symptoms presented in the last six months, 4. Work disabilities in the last six months and finally the Owas method will be used to assess the physical load exposure derived from the postures adopted during work.
This research will make it possible to generate interventions that promote and protect the safety of the worker by controlling factors that put their health at risk, allowing to reduce absenteeism and work disabilities due to musculoskeletal diseases, creating spaces that allow the worker to get out of the routine and generate well-being and improvement in their quality of life, improving their work performance in the short, medium and long term, since it has been considered that there are significant decreases in symptoms of Musculoskeletal Disorders.
