Synopsis

Obesity and overweight have become a public health problem, since there has been an increase in cases in the population, affecting their state of health by having chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, mixed hyperlipidemia, metabolic disorder among others; For this reason, the focus of this research is aimed at obese people identified in medical examinations, where the different associated chronic pathologies and the concept of unfit by different companies can be observed. As a research objective, the impact of obese people during the entrance physical examination, including the laboratory examination with concepts of non-fitness, will be analyzed, data collected from the selected occupational health Ips in Planeta Rica for the year 2022 will be verified, the information of obese patients and their concept of fitness will be filtered and finally we hope from this research to provide guides for the management of these patients in companies, establish prevention programs to avoid obesity and that they can reach the entrance examination with an ideal weight and that these measures be supplied by the IPS to companies with workers with these diagnoses.
