This project arises from the problems that are evident within the indigenous communities when they settle in
the city of Bogotá; This situation means that some indigenous children have little access to public educational
institutions and houses of thought. On the other hand, it is important to mention that public educational
institutions do not develop a pedagogical exercise that guarantees the permanence of their mother tongue,
culture, style and perception of life. To fulfill the purpose of this research, the notions of bilingualism, new, inclusive and intercultural school,
linguistic and cultural diversity and identity will be addressed in the conceptual framework. This must be
subject to the pedagogical guidelines for initial indigenous education. On the other hand, the methodological
framework defines the type of participatory and hermeneutic action research with a qualitative approach,
likewise, the instruments that will be used for its development: interviews, surveys and documentary review.
Finally, we want to achieve an initial educational permanence with the indigenous communities, respecting
their customs and roots. Therefore, this research is based on the following question: What are the
sociocultural elements that facilitate the educational assistance of children from 0 to 5 years of age from
indigenous communities accentuated in Bogotá?
