The purpose of this research work is to determine prevention strategies for the Carpal Tunnel associated with the exposure of repetitive movements in the evisceration area in a poultry company, located in Bogotá, for which the sociodemographic conditions of each of the workers are important. In the same way, the risk factors to which they are exposed, especially to biomechanical risk, in this way a methodology based on surveys and inspections of workplaces was applied.
It is expected to have a positive impact on prevention programs against Carpal Tunnel Syndrome disease in workers in the evisceration area; With this, achieve as a product in development the article that allows for the strengthening of programs for the prevention of occupational diseases due to biomechanical risk, not only in the poultry sector but also in other economic areas.
