Factores sociales y culturales alrededor de los trastornos alimentarios en adolescentes de 14 y 16 años de Mocoa Putumayo

This research project focused on the study of social and cultural factors around eating disorders in adolescents between 14 and 16 years of age from an Educational Institution in the municipality of Mocoa (Putumayo), since due to the different changes at the cultural level , social and the environment, modifications in eating behaviors can be presented, reflecting the presence of eating disorders, caused by psychosocial problems both at the individual and family level, as well as inadequate information from the media, affecting the quality of life, therefore it is seeks to know the factors that can influence the appearance of this type of disease in adolescents. In addition, this project offered a comprehensive look at possible actions to prevent eating disorders, which seek to reduce the incidence of this type of behavior in adolescents, in order to collaborate with the awareness of the student population. For the development of the research, an exhaustive review of the literature was carried out around the concepts related to eating disorders, classification, causes and consequences, for which information related to previous research, databases, academic articles, videos was consulted. among others that were the basis for the conceptual construction of the terminology used, in addition to knowing broad strokes from the international and national scope, which was of great support for the correct development of the investigation, after carrying out the search for information at a national level. departmental and local, it is evident that there is no information regarding this subject.
