Synopsis

The present research focuses on investigating the effects of behavior when developing emotional regulation strategies in children under 4 to 6 years of age who attend a Stimulation Center located in the city of Popayan of the Department Cauca, the need to understand the absence of this situation in this population, as a result of direct interaction with their environment as well as parents and/or primary caregivers who do not have the necessary guidelines or strategies to favor its implementation in children. The research method in the present study is of a qualitative type based on the semi-structured interview as an instrument for collecting information, since it is aimed at identifying and analyzing the subjective particularities of the children in a manner described by their parents, before and after the implementation of the strategies of emotional regulation, finding as results, the need to continue making broader approaches on this issue, that from its interpretative wealth, facilitate the contextualization of the impact on the behavior of the child population following the implementation of these strategies.
