Synopsis

Colombia has been exposed to the armed conflict for 59 years where children and adolescents have been involved in it, some populations of Colombia have been more affected than others, the department of Putumayo is one of them. The objective of this research was to understand the experiences around how the project of life of children from 11 to 13 years old victims of the armed conflict who live in a municipality of the department of Putumayo. As a method, the qualitative approach was used, through semi-structured interviews of 10 boys and girls. Otherwise, the precarious conditions in terms of quality of life and their family environment, when they join a context in which the armed conflict is present in areas with the presence of armed groups, they form a social framework that strongly affects the lack of guarantees for the free exercise of their rights and therefore makes them particularly vulnerable facing the possibilities of the context. Otherwise, the project of life must be conceived not only as a rational action, planned and executed in a state of maturity of the individual, but also implies expectations of the human being since his childhood.
