Synopsis

Hypersexualization has become a common practice within the family nucleus and the social contexts that have a greater relationship with the child population, a pattern with serious consequences at the individual level as well as at the social level in parents and children who are the most affected. As an objective for this research, it was proposed to understand the experiences of hypersexualization of parents towards children from 3 to 6 years of age. This research is a qualitative study with a phenomenological design which is based on the experiences or perspectives of the families. As a result, it was identified that fathers, mothers, or caregivers pay attention to internal qualities and values, but at the same time it is important to feel that they are part of a beauty prototype created by social dynamics and capitalism. Inconsistencies are evident in the face of verbalizations about hypersexualization, it is observed, the majority of the participants with some surgery or some kind of physical activities to improve their body. In Conclusion, the dynamics of the environment, determine in society prototypes of beauty that society has imposed, allow better opportunities for life and that, to a large extent, moral values, personality, and good customs remain in the background.
