Synopsis

The present investigation will focus on the deficit in the development of affective ties presented
by adolescents from 10 to 12 years old in an educational institution in the city of Bogotá, since a
series of changes in the behavior of adolescents have been evidenced such as : low interest in
the school environment, difficulty socializing, low self-esteem, among others.
Bronfenbrenner's Human Development Ecology Model, 1979), contributes to the understanding
of affective ties by visualizing them as the starting point for interpersonal relationships that
develop from microsystems, that is to say from their primary environment that includes the
family, the school and neighborhood. That is why it seeks to publicize the experiences of the
affective bonds of these adolescents through a qualitative investigation with a
phenomenological study and data collection through interviews with a sample of 10
participants. The deficit in the development of affective bonds in adolescents from 10 to 12
years of age originates in the home since this is their primary environment where the bases are
built that allow adolescents to relate in a timely manner with the rest of contexts.
