Incidencia de los comportamientos prosociales y la ética en el desarrollo de la personalidad de niños y niñas de 4 y 5 años en una institución educativa de la localidad de Engativá (Bogotá D.C.)

The research work focuses on the problem of the lack of prosocial behavior promoted at school and how these actions affect the development of personality from early childhood. Recognizing that in the educational context it is the main scenario of socialization, it is in the classrooms where the absence or decrease of empathy is reflected, as well as little solidarity between peers. Therefore, the research shows the recognition, conceptualization and analysis of prosocial behaviors from an ethical perspective and how they affect the development of personality.
We consider pertinent a qualitative investigation that would allow us, through observation exercises and behavior analysis, to give a timely response to what was raised through an ethnographic study.
The research allowed to show how the development of personality is mediated by elements such as parenting styles, recognizing the role of the adult as a model figure to imitate, becoming a fundamental part of the learning processes of boys and girls, in where they are potential imitators of the behaviors and behaviors of the adults that surround them in their closest context. Supported by this, it was observed which are those responsible decisions, which from the emotional point of view of boys and girls must make to interact, highlighting that these decisions are related to the degree of empathy, commitment, affectivity and bonds that they have between peers.
