Las Experiencias sobre ciberacoso de adolescentes entre los 12 y 14 años en el barrio Timiza de la ciudad de Bogotá
Synopsis
Introduction. Cyberbullying is a phenomenon that is very present in the adolescent population, but although it is an important issue, the lack of knowledge about experiences from the perspective of adolescents motivates this type of research. Goal. To understand the experiences of cyberbullying in adolescents from 12 to 14 years of age in the Timiza neighborhood of the city of Bogotá, from the Bronfenbrenner Ecological Theory. Materials and methods. It is a qualitative and phenomenological study, through in-depth interviews and with a sample of 11 adolescents aged 12 to 14 years from the Timiza neighborhood in the city of Bogotá. Results. It was possible to identify 9 main experiences about cyberbullying in adolescents between 12 and 14 years old, and they were analyzed from Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory. Discussion. Other authors stipulate that the family directly influences the dynamics of cyberbullying, however, it is presented that it is communication and the difference of opinions between equals that most influence this phenomenon. Conclusion. Cyberbullying in adolescents develops in the different contexts where it unfolds, but this phenomenon stands out in the educational environment.
