This research starts from the introduction: which presents the research problem on the increase in forced recruitment in adolescents from 14 to 17 years of age in a settlement in the municipality of Arauca, addressing this issue at a theoretical and conceptual level. The objective was to describe the consequences of forced recruitment in adolescents between 14 and 17 years of age in a settlement in the municipality of Arauca, from the Theory of Development on a Human Scale. The methodology used was quantitative research, the type of study applied was descriptive and the survey was used as and instrument for collecting information. As results, 3 consequences are presented, such as lack of economic resources and opportunities, increased responsibilities and relationship with the context; ending with the conclusions, which reflect recommendations and discussions around the problem addressed.
