THE VALUES AT HOME PREVENT THE PRESENCE OF UNDUE FORCES: Increased use of psychoactive substances (PAS) at an early age

The consumption of psychoactive substances (SPA) is a social phenomenon that has been growing at an accelerated rate in the world and Colombia, is not exactly the exception, the rate of consumption has skyrocketed so much that it has currently permeated a supremely vulnerable population such as the boys and girls. Years ago, in previous decades, this problem was concretely evident in adolescents and adults of both sexes, however, the scourge of drug trafficking and more specifically the modality known as micro-trafficking, has managed to penetrate a more delicate sphere, so to speak. and it is that it began to involve boys and girls in its distribution and consumption processes. Sad, worrying and degrading situation, all the time, involving the most vulnerable beings in a stage of life where they are exposed to all kinds of abuse, such as violence in all its manifestations, sexual abuse, human trafficking, child exploitation and consumption of psychoactive substances, among others. As Specialists in the Comprehensive Development of Children and Adolescents, this problem is addressed due to the direct impact it has on the target population (subject) of study, in order to provide an input that can reach children, adolescents, families, educational community and community leaders, which allows creating awareness about the importance of education or initial training that is provided from the family context and that constitutes those solid pillars, values ​​and parenting guidelines that will be present throughout of life and from where this phenomenon of SPA consumption could be mitigated in some way, which has also been consuming the health, dreams and lives of children and adolescents.
