EXPERIENCES OF BOYS AND GIRLS FROM 10 TO 11 YEARS OLD, BELONGING TO AN EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF NEIVA - HUILA IN FRONT OF THE SITUATION OF BULLYING
Synopsis
The following research work was carried out under the guiding question: What are the experiences of boys and girls between 10 and 11 years of age belonging to an educational institution in Neiva Huila in situations of bullying? For this, it is proposed as a general objective to understand the experiences of boys and girls between 10 and 11 years of age belonging to an educational institution in Neiva-Huila in situations of bullying, where through the in-depth interview it is possible to obtain detailed information of the experiences that the interviewees expressed. The relationship of each chapter is detailed below:
In the first chapter, a general description of the project was made, where the general problem is exposed, which is the increase in bullying situations in boys and girls between 10 and 11 years of age belonging to an educational institution in the city of Neiva in the Department of Huila, there are reflected the general and specific objectives and the justification for which this investigative work is carried out.
In the second chapter are the frames of reference, such as the theoretical framework in which the "Ecological Theory" is addressed, which allows to identify in detail each of the systems exposed by Bronfenbrenner, then the conceptual framework is addressed where it is described and delves into each of the topics of the investigation, such as situations of bullying, the roles and consequences that this experience leaves for both the victim and the victimizer, the contextualization of the educational institution in which it was done is also carried out. research, background and legal framework, along with its decrees and policies.
In the third chapter the methodological framework is explained where the type of study is shown, for this the research method used was the qualitative approach, as well as the contextualization of the population to intervene, which are boys and girls from 10 to 11 years of age, who live in the city of Neiva and meet the characteristics for research, there are also techniques for collecting information and ethical considerations for the application and execution of the project.
In the fourth chapter, the microanalysis and open coding are reflected, where the analysis of results is found through the in-depth interview that was applied to the 10 students of the educational institution between the ages of 10 and 11, through the interpretation and study of the results of the interviews, a series of codes was evidenced, which were grouped into families of codes, which allowed the analysis to be carried out through the methodological resources of open and axial coding research.
This is completed with an incidence study of the phenomenon that provides data on the prevalence, the type of bullying, the situational aspects of bullying, despite the different campaigns it remains an invisible phenomenon and many educational institutions prefer not to open this topic.
