Understanding constructivism from educational didactics in the teaching-learning process of two programs in Virtual and Distance modality of higher education institutions in Mexico and Colombia.
Synopsis
The objective of the document is to analyze the contributions of institutional constructivism and its application in the curriculum to promote quality education, inclusive and equitable educational systems, and the development of student autonomy and responsibility. The paper uses a systematic document review technique to collect and analyze relevant information from written documents such as articles, reports and policies. This technique allows comparative studies to be carried out, establishing similarities and differences between different sources, and is non-invasive, guaranteeing privacy and confidentiality. The document concludes that the use of the portfolio as a methodological and self-assessment resource in higher education is effective in promoting students' autonomy, responsibility and control over their academic performance. They also highlight the principles of constructivism and the role of teachers as guides and facilitators, promoting critical thinking and the development of skills.
